KNOW YOUR GEAR.
Padded Headband+
A continuous padded headband concept with an open crown, low-profile rear adjustment and hair-friendly construction. Forehead, temple and rear coverage connect through flexible articulation zones.
DESIGN DIRECTION
A fit system developed with women and girls from the start, including ponytails, braids, curls and short hair; fit options offered to any athlete who needs them.
MATERIALS
Soft textile-covered molded foam; wicking inner face; flat covered hook-and-loop rear overlap. No rigid external hardware or protruding decorative panels.
FIT
Measure circumference and head shape. Validate retention with sweat and hair variation, without excessive circumferential pressure. Keep hair clearance separate from required padding coverage.
VALIDATION
Select the soccer use case first; assess ASTM F2439 with an accredited lab and IFAB/league equipment rules. Assess ball interaction and covered adjustment edges. Other girls’ sports require separate rule and performance review.
Soccer Shin Guards+
A shaped left/right guard pair with an impact-spreading polymer shell, rounded soft perimeter and segmented cushioning. A fitted pocket sleeve holds each guard in position under the sock.
DESIGN DIRECTION
Coverage-led geometry with a stable retention sleeve and durable soft edge; no oversized decoration or token microguard coverage.
MATERIALS
Candidate impact-modified polypropylene or tough thermoplastic shell; compatible soft overmolded edge; closed-cell foam backing; nylon-elastane pocket sleeve.
FIT
Size by lower-leg length and contour. Map tibial coverage and boot/ankle clearance across sizes. Keep medial/lateral shapes distinct and label left and right.
VALIDATION
Lab assessment against applicable BS EN 13061 requirements, with impact, penetration, edge, retention, sweat and aged-material studies. Confirm suitable size and reasonable protection under IFAB rules; do not claim certification before approval.
Goalie Gloves+
A close-fitting goalkeeper glove concept with a negative-cut finger construction, wrapped latex palm and thumb, precurved fingers and a flexible textured backhand. A soft wrist wrap allows fit adjustment.
DESIGN DIRECTION
Two transparently labeled palm options: match grip and training durability. A carefully patterned thumb and finger gusset system takes priority over decorative backhand bulk.
MATERIALS
Supplier-qualified natural-latex palm compound, foam backing, stretch textile backhand and silicone print zones. Sample 3.5–4 mm palm candidates; final stack follows testing. Natural-latex content disclosed.
FIT
Hand length, palm width and finger proportions guide half-size sampling. Check ball feel and opening effort. Optional removable finger stays would be a separate prototype, not a default feature or injury guarantee.
VALIDATION
Wet/dry grip with representative balls, abrasion, palm delamination, seam strength, repeated flex, closure cycles, dye transfer and athlete sessions. Natural latex grip trades against abrasion life; quantify both.
